Welcome to my new blog! My Goal for Birds New York will be a source for birders in NY to learn more about the species that spend time in this state, whether that be as a resident, breeder, or just migrating through. From identification tips, species spotlights, birding trips to different locations etc.
I plan on posting two to three times a week and with each post include either photographs I have taken or artwork. Shortly, I will be organizing a weekly newsletter with a roundup of topics as well as spotlighting some of the birds that are migrating through the area as well as rarities being spotted.
